Impressions
report:
"I was setting up my turntable and its motor speed controller on
my Signature rack when I found something pretty amazing. I have a Basis
2800 table and a VPI SDS motor controller.
I did the following:
I plugged the motor directly into the wall and held the motor in my hand.
I could feel it vibrate slightly. Then I plugged the motor into the VPI
SDS speed controller and held the motor in my hand. I could feel it vibrate
but less then before. Then I placed the motor on the top shelf of the
Signature rack. I put my hand on the motor to feel the vibrations.
There were no vibrations at all!!!
I could not detect any. I thought the motor was off. It was running. WOW!!!
I have never experienced anything like this before. I was shocked. I never
understood what people were talking about when they say that "vibrations
are drained from the component". Now I understand what it means. I have
experienced it first hand.
The Signature rack is awesome.
I am very very impressed." |

"Compared
with my previous Creativ rack the Signature is clearly more musical. The
music flows along. The bass is not as powerful as in the Creativ, but
on the other hand it fits better into the music. It sounds more real.
A further advantage is the clear tweeter range, where the Creativ didn't
offer that much. However it takes a bit of getting used to that the music
seems to be slower at first. If you listen more carefully however, you
find a lot more energy that presents a soundstage freed from the constraints
of the loudspeakers." |
